Russell has worked on various healthcare projects at Basildon Hospital and Orsett Hospital and a care home in South Essex.
Timber Grove Care Home
Russell helped design the technical package for a state of the art residential care home for young people with extra care needs.
Orsett Trauma and Orthopaedic
Russell acted as the assitant job runner for the T & O department at Orsett.
Helping Andrew Black with his busy schedule, Russell soon learned the art of contract administration and project management, often fielding calls for site visits by FBB Architects and other Consulting Structural engineers and M & E consultants.
Russell helped design the reception desk as part of the overall technical package.
Basildon Day Surgery
The redesign of the Day Surgery and reception, offices and wards was drawn and designed by Russell Beattie and Andrew Black at FBB Architects.
As such there were two / three options tabled to the client. The design was primarily solved by linking an extension to the existing day surgery in order to increase capacity and to accommodate the growing needs of the reception, doctors offices and ward spaces.
